Something that was not possible for many warriors has been achieved by Erik and Rugrat i.e they are in the third realm now. Each realm before this has brought new surprises to them and this one comes up with more scary stuff. Both the heroes were looking for different things in the second realm and they are still seen moving on the same pattern. This lands both of them in trouble and for the first time they were not looking for any kind of trouble rather they were seeking a way out of trouble.

Alchemist association’s trial just destroys all their efforts that they have done in the past because they are finally being noticed and this can seriously affect their mission. Michael Chatfield has kept the pace in the story since The Two Week Curse and The Second Realm because the author had so much in his mind about realms. Getting out of the trials without any kind of trouble becomes the main focus of the two and they for the time being leave the mana stone collection aside. There would be no ascending in power if they fail in the trials.

Todd Meneses for the first time narrates the two characters who are afraid of their situation in life. At first, they were fueling their minds and bodies with courage but only courage in the mind will not help them in getting out of troubles that they are facing in the third realm. There is more in the other realms that Erik might not be able to see if he dies in this one at the hands of cruel enemies.
