Wowser! I\’m suffering from a book hangover! The story is very entertaining, hilarious, and it was just simply cool that characters from the Fire and Ice trilogy make a substantial appearance in this book! I laughed, yelled, and wanted to help kick some rear! The story was unpredictable and exciting! The characters are snarky, sarcastic, and quite funny! Going back for a second listen! Nicole Poole did a nice job with providing individual voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.

Natural Mage (Magical Mayhem #2) audiobook in series Demon Days Magical Mayhem Vampire Nights
in the first book she had people to help guide her.in this book she demonstrates her complete lack of common sense,or sense of self preservation.she knows almost nothing about the supernatural world, and refuses to listen to any of the experts surrounding her.,she doesn\’t have the self preservation instincts of the average house pet.the author is obviously capable of writing an enjoyable and interesting book, but I spent too much time yelling at the main character for being such a moron, that I did not enjoy this one.

Audiobook Natural Mage (Magical Mayhem #2) by K.F. Breene
Well that was a bowl of crazy mage and fireball soup! Go Penny! I love how this character has developed from a novice to a novice with a powerful magical punch. Shes unpredictable at the best of times and totally out of her element at the best of times. Its the best game of cat and mouse Ive ever seen! While training with the dual mages things just dont seem to go right so Darius, vampire elder pulls his cards and puts her with his bonded warrior to train. Needless to say, Penny and Reagan together is a sight to behold and an explosion waiting to happen. No matter the method used, Reagan is the best one to train her. Aside from Emory…. So when he shows back up things take a whole new turn. Its as if no time has passed yet the bond that pulls them closer makes both Emory and Penny realize just how special the two of them are to each other and as a team. Heads start to roll and its a lot of fun watching things unfold… I cant wait for more!

This installment had so much action. It was awesome getting to see the shifters, witches, and vampires at work. Penny is struggling after Emory but she idea steadily working hard to train and to defend herself against the mages. I love the progress she has made so far and ir was great to see Reagan more in this book. I loved the scene at Darius house when Penny was battling for her life. That whole scene was intense! The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story alive for me. It felt like was watching a movie play. Nicole Poole is brilliant with the voices and inflections she uses. Cant wait for the next book. Have it cued up and ready to go!!
