I found this book to be very sweet and a great second chance at love story. I would’ve enjoyed a male narrator for male parts, however I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I really enjoyed the baseball rivalry and the fact that as a woman she knew so much about the sport. No graphic love scenes. Just a sweet love story. It’s free with audible plus. You can’t go wrong.

Audiobook The Practice Proposal (Suddenly Smitten #1) by Tracy March
decent story. narrator was a little whiney at times. also, need to really know your words and reading of you are going to narrate a book. several words were mispronounced that have several different pronunciation (like read and read… alright I can\’t remember the words now). Was ez to get into the first 10-15 minutes of the book, but then lost my attention and had to Re-listen to a few parts. Not sure if it was the story or the narration.

I was worried about sports being the backdrop in this story but it was a non-issue. The story is great and it didn’t have the graphic sex scenes, which I don’t care for. There is a secret that I did NOT see coming…and I pride myself on my foreshadowing ability. The vocal performance was very well done. She didn’t have that catty tone that a lot of female performers do. I felt very invested in the characters and enjoyed the ending. I will be checking out more from this author, for sure!!
